East Coast Games 2017 Road Results - Derek Hughes Takes the Win

Derek Hughes won the 2nd Annual East Coast Games Road event in St. John, NB on Sunday, June 25th. This was also the NB Provincial Championships. Hughes raced a great race and won in a sprint finish which was decided by the finish line photos. Geoff MacDonald was 4th.
The win was made possible by a hard pull in the last 5km by Andre Boudreau. His work in the last five kms strung everything out. He went to the front and started drilling it with about 2 km to go. Really put guys in the red and set up the win by Hughes.
