Join Cycling PEI for five Recreational Cycling Events and experiences on Prince Edward Island’s beautiful Confederation Trail during 2018. These events are for all ages and abilities. They will take participants through quaint communities and scenic parts of the Island. Included will be receptions/food/refreshments, prizes/draws, bike clinics, and other support included.
Cycling PEI will be on hand to do a bike clinic and a bike check and a quick tune up of bikes.
Saturday, June 9th Cycle Emerald to Hunter River and return 18km one way and 36km return. Registration/fees: 10.00 per person, Children 14 and under FREE. These events are FREE for any Cycling PEI member that has a general membership. We value are members and this is a benefit of membership. A weekend family-oriented, recreational cycling event for all ages. Prizes & refreshments.
This is a social family oriented RECREATIONAL cycling experience for all ages and abilities . The event takes advantage of the scenic Confederation Trail in central Prince Edward Island to provide a safe and enjoyable outdoor activity .
Volunteer Trail Officers accompany participants during the event to provide support and assistance as required.
Start and finish at Emerald Train Station. Lots of parking available. Turn around is Parking area in Hunter River. Registration is at 9:30 with the ride to begin at 10am. Snacks will be provided at the start and along the way and food will be served when we return to Emerald.
