2016 Recreational Rides
The Sporting Intentions Weekly Mountain Bike Ride is a beginner friendly ride that has a 'no-drop,' 'we all meet up,' policy. During the coming year we will sample as many of our great Island trails as possible. All rides will be designed to last between 45 and 90 minutes in length. This year we have registered the ride with CPEI and that requires all riders to be members of CPEI. There will be one-day event membership waivers that can be used if someone is new to the Island or mountain biking and just wanting to give it a try. Weekly ride locations will be posted days in advance on the Sporting Intentions Weekly Mountain Bike Ride Facebook page. Rider Leader Brent Nicholson firstname.lastname@example.org

Cycling PEI Monday Night Beginner Road Ride
We'll be all ready to commence the start of the Beginners Road Ride on Monday nights. We start on the 11th of May, weather permitting. If you're new, we always start with a 10-15 minute session on some aspect of cycling, followed by a great group ride. Please remember it's a CPEI sanctioned event and if you're not a CPEI member yet, I will have forms for single event participation. Please remember this form can only be used once, it's not specific to the event itself. Membership can be acquired online in advance to streamline our first meeting. We will be meeting at the Sherwood BMR location. Look to the Facebook page for road routes. I will post them here via MapMyRide.com. The group meets at 6PM with an expected roll out by 6:30. This is a no-drop group ride ranging in distance between 20-40K as the season develops and the ability of the riders. Road bikes only. See you soon!
