Volunteer Appreciation Night 2014
     October 20, 2014 — Mike Connolly

Dear CPEI Volunteers:

Cycling PEI could not exist without volunteers.  As with all other non-profit sports programs, ours depends on the good will, skill, time commitments, and hard work of volunteers.  We'd like to thank you for being part of team CPEI this year.  Volunteer Recognition Night for 2014 is Thursday October 30.  We'll start at 6:30 p.m. and party on into the night until the last have departed.

The location is 163 Sunset Crescent in Brackley.  Our host is Cory Jay.  We'll provide the food and drink, and a photo slide show to summarize this year's many activities.   Bring your appetite and any stories you'd like to share about cycling experiences this year.

2014 has been good for cycling on PEI.  The quality of both competitive and recreational riding improved.  Membership in CPEI is up.  We offer more programs and one-off events than ever before.  We've added Confederation Trail and cyclocross opportunities.  Our signature recreational events, Red Isle Relay, Don Harris Memorial Century Ride, Gran Fondo, and Tour de Cabot, were all bigger and better this year.  We have a lot to celebrate, and hope you will join us.  Please e-mail me at to let me know you are coming.  We want to have enough food on hand.
