Safe Cycling for Kids Program

The Central Region Sport and Recreation Council and Cycling PEI are joining forces to offer a FREE 8 week Safe Cycling for Kids program throughout Central PEI.

During the 8 weeks participants will learn road safety, increase cycling skills, learn important safety information pertaining to Helmets and Cycling equipment and much more! If you don’t have access to a bicycle, let us know and we’ll do our best to pair you with one. Subject to weather conditions. *Helmets are Mandatory*.

Each session will include 30-40 minutes of instructional activities, followed by a 45 minute Community Bike Ride! Parents, additional family members and other community members are welcome to join in on the Ride!

Sessions begin this week in the following locations!

Miltonvale Park (Fireman Training Center) - 5:30
North Rustico (Rink Parking Lot) - 6:00

Borden-Carleton (Gateway Arena Parking Lot) - 5:30
Crapaud (Actiplex Parking Lot) - 6:00

Kinkora (Kinkora Hall Parking lot) - 6:30
Cornwall (Westwood School Tennis Courts) - 6:00

Each session lasts approx 1.5 hours.
