Think Cycling Tour
     August 16, 2010 — Roxanne MacLean

Think Cycling is an event that takes cyclists and neighbourhoods and puts them together to learn how they fit together.

Saturday, August 21st at 10:00 am, Mayoralty Candidate Philip Brown will lead the 25-kilometre Think Cycle Tour through several Charlottetown neighbourhoods and along Confederation Trail. Beginning at the Kiwanis Canteen in Victoria Park, the tour will make its way to North River Road, cycling through West Royalty and on to Winsloe.

We will be stopping for a break in Winsloe at Trailside B&B Tearoom. The link is http://besidethetrail.ca/tearoom/index.html Cindy and Guy Cousineau will be our hosts for freshly-baked scones with butter/jam ($5/person) and specialty coffees/teas ($2/person).  Think Cycle pedalers will then enter Confederation Trail and continue to the downtown area to Water Street, eventually winding their way back to the starting point in Victoria Park.  All biking enthusiasts are welcome to join the Think Cycle Tour for an eye-opening experience in the neighbourhoods and outskirts of Charlottetown.
